One of our many fit out projects, DPA were asked to provide full technical support in providing twelve large coffers that straddle the entire departure and arrival area at Virgin Airways Heathrow Airport.
The works involved the manufacture of the coffer ceilings, and light rafts in GRG, including the parabolic bulkhead that runs the length of the booking hall.
The high-level soffits were then plastered in Stow Render to negate acoustic issues in this high traffic area in the busiest UK airport.
The works were carried out during the night, so the operational activity of the airport was not disrupted.
