DPA were engaged to replace with new the existing Fibrous Plaster Vaulted Ceiling as shown here, which was considered unsafe due to moisture ingress over a number of years, the ceiling was part removed to enable structural work to be undertaken.

The replacement of the ceiling, involved the surveying, setting out. and the manufacture of all the necessary moulds and casts to recreate this vaulted ceiling in a large salon in this period house in London.

This included all the metal support system, which was designed to ensure the maximum height was achieved to recreate this amazing feature.
